TLC2 Tree Service has extensive experience in trimming and pruning all types of trees and shrubs to maintain their health and beauty. Like any other part of your home or business property, trees need to be maintained. Many problems can be avoided when trees are regularly and properly pruned. Protect your landscape investment by hiring only a professional tree care specialist to properly trim or prune your trees.
After careful evaluation and consultation with the customer TLC2 will determine what trimming techniques will be best for the health and beauty of the tree(s) and overall landscaping aesthetics.
Thinning – removing branches to increase the light penetration and air movement through the tree
Raise the skirt – remove lower branches to provide clearance for buildings, pedestrians, views and desired landscape effect
Tree Shaping – maintain the desired form of a tree so that it blends well with existing landscaping or its location
Balance – This is a tree shaping technique that creates a visual balance of the limbs of the tree to make a tree safer and more aesthetically pleasing
Pruning -proper removal of diseased or dead wood to encourage healthy growth, flowering or fruit development of a tree
Crown Reduction – used when trees have grown too large, giving it a more natural appearance. This technique is healthier for trees than topping.
Deadwood Removal – removal of dead, dying, diseased, crowded and weakly attached branches from the crown of the tree to increase airflow and reduce some pest infestations.

Stump removal by grinding is an economical and efficient way to remove tree stumps from your yard or landscape. TLC2 Tree Service uses specialized grinding equipment that is backyard accessible to remove stumps from property. The tree stumps and shrub stumps are ground into mulch, six to ten inches below ground level, which can be filled with the ground mulch mixed with your dirt.
Stump grinding removal advantages
Grass can be seeded, sod can be planted or existing grass can be allowed to grow to cover the area.
A new opportunity to replant or recreate a new landscape area
Eliminates the possible hazards of tripping and falling.
Your yard will have a clean improved look and appear larger.
Stumps that are ground out are less likely to start re-growth.
You will not have to worry about the stump decaying and becoming a perfect breeding ground for termites and disease.
